For six weeks beginning June 20 and lasting through August 8, Highfield Hall & Gardens will be offering eight week-long programs for children ages 4 to 10. Each program is designed around exhibit-specific interactive experiences both in the galleries and outside on the grounds.
Programs include a Beebe Woods expedition, a sewing camp, a Victorian time machine and a program on the worlds of fairies and gnomes. The programs are designed to meld the history, architecture, art, landscape and expansive woods that make Highfield Hall & Gardens, to foster creativity and instill awareness and appreciation of the natural world.
Prices for class offerings vary depending on each program. The program instructors are Sally Egan, Lisa Willow Dunne and Highfield’s education director, Caroline Inman.
