The Meeting House Chamber Music Festival’s season premiere concert will be held at Highfield Hall on Sunday, June 22, beginning at 4 PM.

The centerpiece of the opening concert will be Irina Muresanu’s Four Strings around the World, a musical tour of periods and styles. The concluding work of the concert will be Beethoven’s Piano Trio in B-flat major, Op. 97 (“Archduke”). Dedicated to Beethoven’s patron and student Archduke Rudolph of Austria, this work is considered by many scholars to be the greatest piano trio in the entire classical repertoire.
