The jury in the murder trial of Robert Vacher came in with a verdict of guilty on all counts at about 2:10 PM this afternoon.
The jury found Mr. Vacher guilty of first degree murder with premeditation, extreme atrocity and committed during a felony, which carries a possible life sentence.
Mr. Vacher was stoic as the verdict was read. Afterwards, his mother, who has sat a couple rows behind him in the courtroom throughout the trial, cried.
After the verdict was read, Assistant District Attorney Lisa Edmonds, who led the prosecution, hugged Paula Carberry, the mother of the victim, Jordan Mendes. Ms. Carberry has attended the trial as well.
