Cape Cod Mini Maker Faire

Mashpee High School’s technology department will be among the participants at the upcoming Cape Cod Mini Maker Faire, a festival featuring innovative projects created by inventors, tech enthusiasts, hobbyists, crafters, artists, and “do-it-yourselfers” of all kinds. The faire will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable.

This free, family-friendly event will showcase the talent and creativity of local maker culture and feature a lineup of more than 40 makers and maker groups. Among the projects will be:

• 3-D printing demonstrations
• Natural homebuilding
• Steampunk arcade games
• Handcrafted surfboards
• Arduino and Raspberry Pi
• Robots
• Hacked toys
• Homebrewing
• Duct tape kayaks
• Experimental aircraft
• Ham radio
• Learn to solder
