The Sandwich Republican Town Committee (SRTC) has entered a team in the 2014 HopeHealth Walk for Alzheimer’s. For 22 years, the walk has generated thousands of dollars through individual contributions. The SRTC has been a part of the walk for the last 10 years.
People from many communities—parents, children, corporations, even pets—participate to offer hope to those dealing with the hardships of having a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease and to support programs that help those living with the disease, their caregivers, healthcare professionals and community agencies.
The SRTC will be walking on Sunday, May 18, along the Cape Cod Canal at the railroad bridge location in Buzzards Bay. To donate, www.sandwichrepublicans.org/events.html. To walk with the committee’s group, send an e-mail to SandwichRepublicans@Comcast.net
The SRTC encourages residents to visit www.sandwichrepublicans.org, where event and committee information is available. The site contains information about meetings and how to sign up to help Republican candidates both locally and nationally. The group also maintains a page on Facebook.
