New Program For Preschoolers Teaches STEM concepts

The Cape Cod Children’s Museum in partnership with Upper Cape Community Family Child Engagement (CFCE) has created a program for preschoolers and their caregivers.

With funding provided by the Early Education and Care, residents of Sandwich, Mashpee, Falmouth and Bourne are eligible to participate in this free program. Space is limited to 10 families per community.

The program will use the museum’s newest interactive exhibit, The Farm and Market to educate children and their caregivers with STEM-based experiences customized just for preschoolers. Basic science, technology, engineering and math concepts and curriculum with be explored.

The program will culminate with a field trip to Coonamessett Farm. Parents and caregivers will learn how to apply STEM at home and everyone will leave with ideas, make-and-takes and homework.

The program will run from April 30 through June 18 and will meet Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 AM.
