Tribe To Hold Annual Quahog Day

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe is inviting all Wampanoag youth and families to its fifth annual Quahog Day on Friday, June 27, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the MWT Government Center Powwow Grounds, 483 Great Neck Road South, Mashpee.


It will be a day of quahog and shellfishing with tribal youth and their families. A family cookout will be held at the powwow grounds after fishing. Adult volunteers are needed and parents are encouraged to attend with their children to help supervise. The event is sponsored by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council and the MWT Natural Resources Department.
