Treasure Time Fish Tale @ Woods Hole Public Library

When: Thu Aug 15th
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Where: Woods Hole Public Library | 581 Woods Hole Road | Woods Hole

Lee Drescher of Treasure Time Productions will be telling a big fish story on August 15, 3:30, at the Woods Hole Library. She will emerge from the sea in costume with her big net, and who knows what she’ll have in it or what she’ll be catching. The featured book is Dory Story by Gerry Palotta of Needham, MA, which is a wonderful tale about local varieties of fish and how they relate to the food chain. Ms. Drescher will also play original and familiar sea songs for kids to sing and move to. In addition, there will be a craft, where kids make sea creatures with streamers for dancing at the end.

Ms. Drescher works with children in libraries and schools. She believes that the arts of music, drama and dance are important in helping kids to learn literacy, as well as hands on art activities.
