Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival presents this year's program of Tennessee Williams and Women: 50% Illusion from September 26 - 29.
The festival offers audiences an immersion into the creative life of one of the world's most influential playwrights through performances of his enduring classics as well as his little-known experimental work, along with plays by women who were creating women characters in their own way.
Performances include: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof; Slapstick Tragedy: The Mutilated; Kingdom of Earth; The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore; The Chorus Girl Plays, including the world premiere of Curtains for the Gentleman; a modern take on A Streetcar Named Desire; and also In the Summer House by Jane Bowles and Pink Melon Joy by Gertrude Stein.
