Food and a Book Series @ Momo's Food Emporium

Titcomb’s Bookshop will begin the third year of the “Food and a Book Series” at Momo’s Food Emporium.  The evening will include a tasting, cooking demonstration and a discussion of  "Yes, Chef: A Memoir by Marcus Samuelsson.".  Tickets are $36 and include a copy of the book.  Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Titcomb’s Bookshop at 508-888-2331.

The “Food and a Book” Series celebrates books with a strong food theme, including cookbooks, memoirs and fiction.   "Yes, Chef" chronicles Marcus Samuelsson's remarkable journey from Ethiopia to Sweden to some of the most demanding and cutthroat restaurants in Europe to an acclaimed New York City culinary career.  Winner of the James Beard Award and author of several cookbooks, Samuelsson has appeared on numerous national television shows, including "Top Chef Masters," where he took first place. In 1995, Samuelsson became the youngest chef ever to receive a three-star review from The New York Times. His newest restaurant, Red Rooster, recently opened in Harlem, where he lives with his wife.  Marcus Samuelsson will not be making an appearance at the event.
