Cercie Miller Quartet concert @ Cape Cod Museum of Art

The group is led by Boston saxophonist Cercie Miller, an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music and a member of the senior music performance faculty at Wellesley College. She has appeared and/or recorded with many artists, including Deborah Henson-Conant, Rebecca Parris, Patty Larkin and Lisa Thorson. This past August, Miller performed as part of a trio at the ninth annual Provincetown Jazz Festival.
Miller’s accompanists include pianist Tim Ray, a veteran of Lyle Lovett’s band who has performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House and the Kennedy Center as well as repeatedly on late-night TV shows. Rounding out the quartet are bassist Ron Ormsby and drummer Bart Weisman.
The concert will last about an hour, with refreshments to follow. Admission is $12 for museum members, $15 for nonmembers. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 508-385-4477, ext. 15.
