Presentation and book signing for "The Morphine Dream."  Using facets of his own life to prove to others that life can always be “rebooted,” Donald L. Brown’s personal story is one of true triumph over tragedy. With his early life blighted by his father’s suicide, dropping out of junior high school and suffering life-changing injuries in an industrial accident that ended his professional baseball dreams, Brown was convinced he had nothing useful to offer the world. But Brown had a dream while on a post-surgery morphine drip. He dreamed himself graduating from Harvard Law School and walking across America. Brown took the dream to heart, and graduated from Harvard Law School (where he a classmate of Barack Obama) and then went on to walk across America.
