The Cape Cod Museum of Art presents “Illuminating Our Permanent Collection: Modernism and the Cape Cod Landscape." The exhibit will explore the ways in which some of the Cape’s most important artists exploited the region’s charms while pushing the artistic envelope. Featuring the work of Blanche Lazzell, Agnes Weinrich, George Grosz, Lawrence Kupferman, Vernon Smith, and Kenneth Stubbs, among others.
Guest Curator Cindy Nickerson will present a gallery talk in conjunction with “Modernism and the Cape Cod Landscape” on Thursday, June 26, at 2 PM. The talk is free with the price of admission to the museum. Adults: $9, seniors: $8, students 13 to 18: $5, children under 12: Free. The exhibit will run from Thursday, June 26 through Sunday, August 10.
