Formerly the director of two museums and currently a practicing archaeologist, Gregg Harper’s fascination with history and its touch on the present is evident in his music. His repertoire is vast and varied, and includes traditional and modern folk, blues and jazz tunes, as well as original compositions available on three albums: “Ancient Road” (an EP of 5 original and traditional Celtic tunes), “Dragonfly” (full-length LP with 12 original tunes in a contemporary Americana/Roots style), and "Why So Worried" (9 traditional/folk tunes from the British Isles in the tradition of the ancient balladeer).
