ABOUT AVENUE Q
Princeton, fresh out of college, searches for a place to begin his life and ends up way out on Avenue Q where the rent is affordable. His superintendent is Gary Coleman and his neighbors a diverse group of 20-somethings, a vamp, some bears, and a Trekkie Monster. The 2004 “Triple Crown” Tony Winner for Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score, Avenue Q is about the search for one’s purpose in life. It’s funny and irreverent, full of energy and charm and is fearless at addressing political correctness. Many characters are puppets in the style of Sesame Street but this show is definitely not a children’s show and parental discretion is advised for ages 13 and above.
