(July 31 – August 4) Billy Crocker, a young Wall Street broker, gets on the S.S. American in search of a girl he met in a taxi, unknowingly aiding a gangster and his partner in the process. When Billy finally finds her, she says she must stay with her fiancé, despite how much she would rather be with Billy. They discover that not  all want what they allude to, and all of the couples try to rearrange in search of their happy endings.
