Cirlce by the Sea, a summer monthly campfire, musical gathering at Sandy Neck, on Rt. 6A Sandwich/Barnstable, presents a musical, engaging song circle on Friday, August 10, at 7pm.   Open talent welcome with toasting marshmallows around a bonfire.   

 

Dawna Hammers, Singer Songwriter and a spirited evening of song.  Hammers has been singing at "The Circle by the Sea" for over 20 years.  Dawna will be performing original and cover songs on acoustic guitar and dulcimer.  Hammers has also studied both African & Native American spirituality and music so she will also lead easy sing along chants with her frame drum and djembe drum which was chosen for her by one of her teachers; the late, great Babatunde Olatunji from Nigeria.    

 

Future concerts are scheduled for August 24 and August 31 at 7pm with Friends of CIRCLE by the SEA.   Open talent welcomed to perform. 

 

CIRCLE by the SEA is a family event for all ages.  $5 donation is requested.  Bring beach chairs, a piece of firewood, non-alcoholic beverage. Canceled if rain.
