Falmouth Trolley Tours @ Museums on the Green

Guests will have the opportunity to see the past come alive in some of Falmouth's oldest thoroughfares while partaking in a guided trolley tour. Sponsored by the Falmouth Historical Society, the tours will leave from Falmouth Museums on the Green, 55 Palmer Avenue, at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 12, 19 and 26 and Wednesday, October 3 rain or shine.  Tickets for the two-hour tour are $20 and seats may be reserved by calling 508-548-4857 as space is limited.
The narrated tour begins with an introduction to the area's earliest residents before the first European settlers arrived in 1660.  Visits to the village of Woods Hole, Highfield Hall and Falmouth Heights are included on the tour before the trolley returns to Museums on the Green where guests are welcome to take a complimentary guided tour of the 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House, view exhibits in the Conant House and find unique items in the Whaling Wives Gift Shop.
