Putnam Murdock has been a professional touring musician since the mid-1990s, sharing the stage with artists like Taj Mahal, Tim Reynolds, and Kaki King. Steeped in old-time folk, country, and blues, Murdock's music has been compared to that of John Prine and Ryan Adams with a dash of Tom Waits. Songs from his latest record, Brand New Widow, released in October 2011, can be heard on Hyannis radio station Cool 102 FM and WMVY's Local Music Cafe.
