Plein Air Demonstration @ Highfield Hall

Master plein air painter Rosalie Nadeau will demonstrate her approach and attraction to the style at Highfield Hall.

Reflecting the 19th century Impressionist movement, Nadeau’s work gives a sense of the specific time and space where light is the subject. As participants look on, the artist will create an original piece of art that might be used as a study sketch for a larger studio work, or might be complete unto itself.

Versatile in both pastel and oil, Nadeau is a popular instructor known for her emphasis on the luminous qualities of light. Her demonstration is part of the “Fresh Air: Cape Cod Plein Air Painters” exhibition that is on display at Highfield through Sunday, September 23.
