Set in the silent film world of slapstick routines, pratfalls, wild chases, and nailbiting moments, “Mack & Mabel” is the story of the tempestuous love affair of two silent film icons: director, Mack Sennet, also known as the "King of Comedy," and the star comedienne, Mabel Normand. Listen to the spectacular soaring score that Jerry Herman ("Mame," "Hello Dolly," "La Cage Aux Folles") claimed as his favorite.
The Cape Rep Theatre rendition is directed by Peter Hackett with Musical Direction from Scott Storr. The cast includes Richard Sullivan as Mack Sennet, Christina Morrell as Mabel Normand and Serena Brook as Lottie Ames.
