4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Where: Cape Abilities Farm, Olde Homestead Lane, Marstons Mills

The Current Quarterly, Cape Cod's first fashion magazine, will host a fashion show featuring fall styles from local boutiques to raise money for the non-profit, Cape Abilities.

The fashion show will take place outdoors under a tent at the Cape Abilities Farm on Olde Homestead Lane in Marstons Mills. Produce grown on the farm will be served as appetizers prepared by 586 Bistro & Bar, and Cape Cod Beer and Joseph Carr Wine will provide refreshments.

Cape Abilities serves individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod by educating,
counseling and providing residential, therapeutic, social and employment supports so as to empower them to achieve meaningful and valued roles in society.

The first issue of The Current will release September 21 and will be distributed across the Cape. The magazine will be a guide to what's hot, who's who and where to go for your clothing and accessory needs on Cape Cod.

Boutiques involved in the fashion show are Shift Eco-Boutique, Shine, Sass, TK Perry, Mulberry Corners, If the Shoe Fits and Savvy on Main , along with locally crafted brand Banshii. Essential Beauty Aveda Salon will be doing hair and makeup for the models.

Tax deductible tickets to the fashion show are $60 and can be purchased by calling Cape Abilities at 508-778-5040, visiting Shift Eco-Boutique, 535 South Street, Hyannis; Centerville Pie Company, 1671 Falmouth Road, Centerville; and Cape Cod Beer, 1336 Phinneys Lane, Hyannis.
