Enter our musical galleries. In one you'll see the art which inspired the music and be part of an interesting experience. First, we've paired virtuoso Adam Neiman with one of the greatest piano compositions of all time, Pictures at an Exhibition.   Phenomenal.  Then, you'll hear the same piece again, but with Ravel's lush orchestral arrangement. Transforming.

 

Have you ever looked at a portrait and gotten a funny feeling that it was looking back at you?  Stephen Paulus' Voices from the Gallery takes that one step further.  In this gallery, we not only hear a wonderful composition. We also hear what the people in several masterpieces might be thinking.

 

In a very different type of gallery, you'll experience something that very few people have--LIVE! Scriabin's idea for a "symphony of light and sound" was way ahead of its time. More than a century later, we've teamed up with a scholar and an award-winning lighting designer to produce the multi-sensory piece the great composer envisioned. This ambitious undertaking also features an unusual "instrument" called a luce and our very own Chatham Chorale.
