West Falmouth, Then and Now: a Photo Exhibit at West Falmouth Library
West Falmouth Library, 575 West Falmouth Highway, presents a photo exhibit of archival and current photographs featuring locations in West Falmouth connecting past and present history. The exhibit was created as part of the West Falmouth Day open house event at the library, held on Sunday, Oct. 7, and can be viewed through October 31 during library hours.
The display was created by West Falmouth residents and photographers, Peter Partridge and Milt Williamson and features scenes such as West Falmouth Railroad Station, Bowerman’s Bathhouse and Chapoquoit Island following the Hurricane of 1938.
The photographs were loaned to the library by Betsy Heald Arthur, Barbara Ramsdell, John and Martha Ross, Dan Shearer, Milt Williamson, in addition to those from the West Falmouth Library Archives.
