November is Native American Month, it is also the month for Bourne Historical Society’s Native American Lecture Series. Every Wednesday evening in November with the exception of Thanksgiving eve, a lecture on the Native Peoples will be given at 7 PM at the Jonathan Bourne Historical Center, 30 Keene Street, Bourne Village.
Wednesday, November 7th will be a discussion on Wampanoag Traditional Music by Kitty Hendricks Miller of the Wampanoag Cultural Educator.
Wednesday, November 14th The Traditional Role of a Wampanoag Man from Philip Wynne, a Plimoth Plantation Supervisor at the Wampanoag home site.
Wednesday, November 28th at 7 PM Deer, the One to Hunt with Carol Wynne, a Food ways Director at the Plantation and Site Manager at the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum.
Lectures held at the Jonathan Bourne Historical Center, 30 Keene Street, Bourne Village
Each Wednesday Evenings in November except for Nov 21st, Thanksgiving Eve.
Donation $5 each Lecture Refreshments Served
