The City Ducks play finger-snappin', toe-tappin', back-slappin', good-timey roots music, mostly derived from the music of the jug bands that played on the streets of Memphis starting in the 1920s. But their music also includes Delta blues, traditional gospel and music from Appalachia. The City Ducks include (left-to-right) Ed Loechler (vocals, guitar, mandolin, banjo, Mid Walsh (vocals, harmonica) and Mark Sutherland (vocals, guitar, slide guitar).
