Kick off the weekend of festivities by joining your neighbors at Nobska Lighthouse for a holiday carol sing at 5:30 p.m. Following the singing, enjoy some hot chocolate and then head down town or to your favorite gathering place. Main Street will be beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Wake up the kids and grandkids early Saturday morning for a Family Pancake Breakfast and Parade raffle at Morse Pond School, then down to Falmouth Harbor to welcome Seafaring Santa as he sails into town. Saturday evening at 7pm, the community will come together for the Annual Lighting on the Village Green. Before and after the lighting, enjoy the Main St. to Queen’s Buyway Holiday Stroll. Other planned events are in development.
The icing on the cake is the 49th annual Holiday by the Sea Christmas Parade. The theme for this year’s parade is “COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS SPIRIT”. A most appropriate theme as it takes a community coming together to make the Falmouth parade so special.
We are reaching out to the business community, social organizations, and community members, young and old, to give their time and talent to help make the 49th annual parade the best ever. Please call the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce at 508-548-8500 and add your name to our growing list of volunteers. It takes a village to make the Holiday by the Sea dream a reality. Call today!
