Book Discussion Group @ Sandwich Public Library

Books in War and Peace, a series of international books for discussion led by Sandwich resident, librarian and "passionate" reader Susan Raidy-Klein, is a new book group forming at the Sandwich Public Library on the last Saturday morning of the month. 
Meetings will be held as following: Saturday, January 26 will be "People of the Book" by Geraldine Brooks; February 23, "The Bonesetter's Daughter" by Amy Tan; March 30, "In the Time of Butterflies" by Julia Alvarez; April 27, "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia-Marquez; May, "The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri," and June 24, "A House for Mister Biswas" by V.S. Naipaul. 
Participants may choose to join the group from month to month. Online advance registration is suggested at sandwichpubliclibrary.com. For assistance in obtaining copies of the books to be discussed, contact the Reference Desk at 508-888-0625 ext 301.
