Join Cape Cod’s own multi-talented singer-songwriter, Kami Lyle, for a series of unique evenings with her favorite singer- songwriters from around the country. Kami will be hosting each round introducing her fans and friends to wonderful artist-performers in a relaxed Cape Cod living room setting, fake fireplace and all.  Kami, with her house band mates Joey Spampinato (founding member of NRBQ) and Tad Price will welcome nationally renowned singer songwriters.  The special guests have toured the country as performers and their songs have been recorded by Kathy Mattea, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, Keith Urban, Maura O’Connell & Susan Werner.
These artists have also collaborated with Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jonatha Brooke, Shawn Colvin, John Jennings, Lyle Lovett, Bela Fleck, Nickel Creek, David Wilcox, Emmylou Harris and too many others to mention.
Mountain Stage, Austin City Limits, & The White House have hosted some of these talented songwriters.
Kami and her guests share a history with one another and she is thrilled to bring them to Cotuit Center for the Arts to showcase their talents.  Her first guests, Sally Barris from Nashville, who was recently nominated for a Grammy, & Jake Armerding from Nashville & Boston,  reviewed in The Boston Globe as “The most gifted and promising songwriter to emerge from the Boston folk scene in years” will be performing on Friday February 8th, 2013.
Cotuit Center for the Arts plans to present 4 “Sit-A-While” events during the 2013 Season for which some of the specials guests include Catie Curtis, of Newton; Dana Cooper of Nashville; and Peter Mulvey of Wisconsin.
It promises to be a special intimate evening of shared songs, storytelling and humor. To learn more about Kami Lyle and her guest artists visit their website links below.
