Jazz and Comedy Benefit Show Honors Influential Cape Photographer
Comedian Glen Anderson, author Mick Carlon, and acclaimed jazz musician Mike Persico will perform March 2 at 7 PM at the Knight Auditorium at Barnstable High School, 744 West Main Street, Hyannis. The concert will benefit the Barnstable Education Foundation. Tickets are $25.
The evening includes a tribute to Cape Cod’s own Jack Bradley, a photographer who was for many years Louis Armstrong’s road manager and, according to Satchmo himself, “my white son.” In addition, Mr. Bradley managed trumpeter Bobby Hackett and road managed for pianist Erroll Garner.
