Friends of Nobska Light is moving forward to restore and preserve the lighthouse property and, thanks to private donors, foundations and government grants, work on the lighthouse tower will commence this September.

Thanks to a Massachusetts Cultural Commission grant, work on planning for a new regional maritime history museum in the Nobska keeper’s house will commence this summer.

The Friends are seeking documents and artifacts that could be housed in the museum or digital images of artifacts for the museum.

Friends of Nobska Light, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) charitable and educational corporation and all contributions are tax-deductible. Anyone with documents and/or artifacts can contact the Friends at briannick444@verizon.net or by phone, 508-457-9199.
