9:01 PM: Police responded to the Falmouth Hospital Emergency Room for the report of a disturbance. After refusing to cooperate with multiple requests from police, officers used a taser on and then arrested William F. McElrody, 58 of South Dennis for disorderly conduct.

Friday, August 8, 2014

1:01 AM: Police responded to Sandwich Road, East Falmouth, for the report that a man was exposing himself. Police eventually found the man, identified as Lucas Riedl, 19, of Pocasset Street, Falmouth, and arrested him for disorderly conduct and for open and gross lewdness after they witnessed him in the act.

9:53 AM: Police received the report of a disturbance on Quaker Road in North Falmouth.

1:03 PM: A resident of Annette Avenue, East Falmouth, reported a disturbance.

3:25 PM: A home on Old Meeting House Road, East Falmouth, was reported to have been broken into.

4:32 PM: A home on Shore Street, Falmouth, was reported to have been broken into.

8:59 PM: Police received the report of an assault on Teaticket Highway, East Falmouth.

9:18 PM: Police received the report of a larceny on Davisville Road, East Falmouth.

3:08 AM: Police responded to Davis Straits for the report of an unwanted guest and arrested Andy J. Morales, 35, listed as homeless and from Falmouth. A woman told police that she no longer wanted Mr. Morales in her basement because he was drinking too much and had stolen from her. Mr. Morales was charged with breaking into a vehicle in the nighttime for a felony, larceny under $250, intimidating a witness and was held on $1,500 cash bail.

9:35 AM: Police received a report that a car parked on Lucerne Avenue, Falmouth Heights, was broken into.

12:32 PM: Police received the report of an overdose on Pebble Lane, North Falmouth.

1:09 PM: A home on Great Bay Street, Maravista, was reported to have been broken into.

1:19 PM: Police received a report that a vehicle parked on Falmouth Heights Road had been broken into.

4:07 PM:  Police responded to an accident near Muriel Lane on East Falmouth Highway. A witness told police that they observed one driver in the accident had thrown a beer can from his car. Police arrested the driver, Gregory H. Eldridge, 51, Seacoast Shores, East Falmouth, on his third offense of operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor after he refused a breathalyzer test. Mr. Eldridge said he knew that he would fail.

10:21 PM: A vehicle parked on Worcester Court, Falmouth, was reported to have been broken into.

11:45 PM: A home on Blacksmith Shop Road, East Falmouth, was reported to have been broken into.

1:16 AM: While on patrol, Officer Paul Stefanelli heard a loud crash near Robbins Road and Scranton Avenue in Falmouth Heights. He responded and found that the vehicle was no longer there but a utility pole had been damaged. He also saw a trail of liquid heading toward Main Street. He followed the trail, which eventually brought him to the back parking lot of D’Angelo’s Grilled Sandwiches on Main Street. He observed an SUV smoking and damage to the front of the vehicle. The driver, identified as Heath C. Morse, 25, of Amvets Avenue, Falmouth, denied he was involved in the accident. Officer Stefanelli determined Mr. Morse to be intoxicated and arrested him for drunk driving and other infractions. Arthur R. Fernandez, 35, of Muriel Lane, East Falmouth, a passenger in the car, was taken into protective custody.

2:47 AM: Police received the report of a larceny on Riverway, North Falmouth.

12:01 PM: Police received the report of vandalism on Althea Road, North Falmouth.

1:21 PM: A resident of Gifford Street, Falmouth, reported being harassed.

1:24 PM: Police received the report of a threat from a resident on Quissett Harbor, Woods Hole.

3:45 PM: A resident of Hayway Road, East Falmouth, reported a domestic disturbance.

4:49 PM: Police received the report of a motor vehicle theft from a Falmouth Heights Road address.

6:11 PM: Police received the report of a larceny on Teaticket Highway.

6:30 PM: A resident of Spring Bars Road, Falmouth, reported a disturbance.

8:04 PM: Police received the report of a disturbance on Teaticket Highway.

8:43 AM: A resident of Main Street reported an identity theft.

2:13 PM: Police received the report of a larceny on Luscombe Avenue, Woods Hole.

6:55 PM: Police received the report of vandalism on Tanglewood Drive, East Falmouth.

11:44 PM: Police responded to a noise complaint on Boxberry Hill Road in East Falmouth.

1:07 AM: Police were dispatched for the report of someone yelling in the street on Stanhope Road in Waquoit. Responding officers determined that the man, identified as Norman F. Atchue, 53, of East Falmouth was a hindrance to the neighborhood and arrested him.

10:55 AM: A resident of Manor Lane, East Falmouth, reported vandalism.

12:47 PM: Police received a report of trespassing on a Teaticket Highway property.

2 PM: Police received a report of a larceny on Fresh Pond Road, East Falmouth.

7:19 PM: A home on Sao Paulo Drive, East Falmouth, was reported to have been broken into.

7:41 PM: A vehicle parked on Teaticket Highway was reported to have been broken into.

9:34 PM: Police arrested Jodie Murphy, 49, Beagle Lane, East Falmouth, for assault and battery during a domestic disturbance on Lake Shore Drive North.

10:34 PM: A resident of Teaticket Highway reported a domestic disturbance.

11:51 PM: Police responded to Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, for the report of a disturbance and arrested Geoffrey M. Spooner, 35, of Plymouth on a warrant.
