Upper Cape Storm Closings and Cancellations For February 5

Below is a list of closings and cancellations due to the expected inclement weather tomorrow February 5, 2014.



  • Falmouth Academy has cancelled all classes for February 5, 2014
  • Falmouth Public Schools are closed today February 5, 2014



  • Parking ban in effect in Mashpee until 10 PM for all public and private roads. Vehicles interfering with storm clean-up efforts are subject to being towed.
  • School Committee regular meeting scheduled for February 5 has been rescheduled to Thursday, Feb 6 The public meeting will begin at 6:30 pm in the Quashnet library.
  • Mashpee Public Schools are closed today February 5, 2014



  • The Cape Cod Healthcare blood drive scheduled for tomorrow at community center, February 5, 2014 has been postponed due to the impending snow storm.
  • Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA) campus will be closed February 5, 2014. This closure includes the cancellation of all classes including Division of Graduate and Continuing Education classes. Essential personnel are expected to report for work.
  • Upper Cape Tech is Close today February 5, 2014
  • Bourne Schools are Closed today February 5, 2014
  • Bourne Wastewater Advisory Committee is cancelling a workshop they scheduled for this evening on public-private partnerships with regards to projects like building a wastewater treatment facility. It was scheduled for 5 PM at the community center.



  • Sandwich Schools are closed today February 5, 2014



  • Peter Pan Bus Lines has already cancelled some of its routes for tomorrow please check their website for more information 
  • Barnstable County Commissioners meeting postponed from 10am to 1pm February 5, 2014
  • Sturgis Charter Public School is Closed today February 5, 2014
  • Cape Cod Academy is Closed today February 5, 2014
  • Cape Cod Community College is closed until 3PM call 508.375.4070 for updates
  • Pope John Paul II school is cancelled today February 5, 2014
