Two arrests were made earlier this evening in connection with last week's shooting at a Lakewood Drive residence in Mashpee.
According to Captain Scott Carline of the Mashpee Police Department, David Landry, 23, of Kristina Lane in Mashpee, was arrested without incident at 5:17 PM following a motor vehicle stop on Route 151 near the Barnstable County Fairgrounds.
Less than an hour later, Tiquwan R. Dickerson of Acapesket Road in Falmouth was arrested in Hyannis by the Barnstable Police Department Street Crimes Unit, according to Captain Carline.
Both men have been charged with assault to murder with a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault to murder.
The victim of the shooting, a male in his 20s, remains hospitalized in Boston, after being transported from Cape Cod Hospital on Thursday with life-threatening injuries.
The attack last Wednesday evening was the third shooting in Mashpee within a year. Last April, a 20-year-old male was murdered at a Juniper Road residence, less than a quarter mile from Lakewood Drive.
Mr. Landry and Mr. Dickerson are well known to local law enforcement authorities.
Both men will be arraigned in Falmouth District Court on Wednesday morning.
