Albert H. Bonfatti Sr., 87, of North Falmouth died on June 5 at Falmouth Hospital.
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Patricia (Farrell) Bonfatti.
Mr. Bonfatti was born in Wellesley to Albert and Mary (Simoni) Bonfatti. He served in Europe during World War II for the US Army.
He graduated from Northeastern University and founded A. Bonfatti & Co., Inc. with his brother-in-law, James Giammarco. He managed the company for 40 years.
Mr. Bonfatti also was president of the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts and was involved in several charitable endeavors.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Albert Bonfatti Jr. and his wife, Karen Bonfatti, of Holliston, Christopher Bonfatti of Berkley, California, Mary Beth Orfao and her husband, David Orfao, of Concord, Timothy Bonfatti and his wife, Linda Bonfatti, of Medfield, and Andrew Bonfatti and his wife, Melissa Bonfatti, of Holliston; a sister,
Louise Kennedy of Exeter, New Hampshire; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, John Bonfatti; and his sister, Theresa Giammarco.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 10, from 4 to 7 PM in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Highway.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Road, North Falmouth.
Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
