Christina (Michalopoulos) McGuinness of Mashpee, a former East Falmouth resident, died unexpectedly on July 3. She was 69.
Ms. McGuinness was born in Patras, Greece, the daughter of Vasiliki (Giogadoros) and Spiro Michalopoulos. When she was 3, her family moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She graduated from Pawtucket West High School and later worked at Pawtucket City Hall.
After moving to Cape Cod in the mid-1960s, Ms. McGuinness worked for close to 20 years for Colonial Gas, where she was a customer service representative. She was a former resident of East Falmouth.
She was known for her cooking, and enjoyed antiquing and designing jewelry. She also loved animals.
Ms. McGuinness leaves her husband, Vincent J. McGuinness of Cotuit; her children, Meghan Bevacqua and her husband, Paul Bevacqua, and Valarie Ternullo and her husband, Sean Ternullo, all of Plymouth, and Vincent J. McGuinness Jr. and his wife, Theresa McGuinness, of Braintree; and her granddaughter, Jordan Ternullo of Plymouth.
She also leaves brothers, sisters, and extended family in Rhode Island and North Carolina.
