George F. DeRosa, 83, of East Falmouth died on June 11.
A retired member of Teamsters Union Local #379, Mr. DeRosa was married for 53 years to Maureen C. (Caples) DeRosa. In addition to Falmouth, he was a former resident of Charlestown, Allston, and South Yarmouth.
Along with his wife, Mr. DeRosa leaves his children, George F. DeRosa Jr. and his wife, Laura DeRosa, of East Falmouth, James DeRosa and his wife, Joan DeRosa, of Hyannis, Mary Ferranti and her husband, Joseph Ferranti, of Waltham, Thomas DeRosa and his wife, Nancy DeRosa, of Brighton, Kevin DeRosa and his wife, Christine DeRosa, of Centerville, and Maureen DeRosa and her husband, Neil Quinton, of Brockton.
He also leaves his brother, Thomas DeRosa; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. DeRosa was predeceased by his son Ralph DeRosa; and his brother John DeRosa.
Visting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18, from 4 to 8 PM at the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, June 19, at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Francis De Sales Church, 303 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown.
Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
