Henry Mosychuk of Dedham, 81, who was a summer resident of Falmouth, died August 28.
He was married to Margaret Mosychuk for 58 years.
The son of Joseph and Barbara Mosychuk of the Ukraine, Mr. Mosychuk attended Lynn Classical High School, graduating in 1950.
He received an athletic scholarship to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he was captain of the basketball team and a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. He graduated in 1954 with a degree in business.
Mr. Mosychuk began his career as a salesman for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where he eventually became area account manager.
A longtime resident of Dedham, Mr. Mosychuk spent his winters vacationing in Naples, Florida, and his summers in Falmouth.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Mosychuk leaves six children, Jean Miller and her husband, Jim Miller, of Mansfield, Stephen Mosychuk of Jacksonville, Florida, Ann Stano of Dedham, Dr. Richard Mosychuk and his wife, Jennifer Mosychuk, of Falmouth, Ellen Murley and her husband, David Murley, of Mansfield, and Susan Mosychuk of Arlington, Virginia; his sister, Eva Caldwell of Lynnfield; and 13 grandchildren, John and James Mosychuk, Christine, Gregory, Carolyn, and Emily Miller, Nicholas and Joseph Stano, Kristen, Michael, and Kevin Murley, and Julia and Henry Mosychuk.
He was the brother of the late Edward Mosychuk and Carroll Mosychuk.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 2, from 4 to 8 PM at George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, Dedham.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3, at 10 AM.
A funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11 AM in St. Mary Church in Dedham.
Interment will be held in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
