Joseph Henry Watson Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida, a former Falmouth resident, died of natural causes on April 26 at the Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. He was 80.
He was born in Brewer, Maine, the son of Joseph and Katherine Corey Watson. The family moved to Falmouth while he was a young boy.
After high school he was drafted into the US Army. He served two years and was stationed in Germany.
Upon completion of his military service he started his own masonry business.
He later met Lilia Cobrero. They married in 1962 and had two children. In 1976 the family moved to Cape Coral, Florida.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Joseph Henry Watson III of Pennsylvania and Lisa Watson of Georgia; four grandchildren; his brother, Jerry Steven Watson of Alaska; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Ellen Aitken and Jeanette Terragna.
There are no services or burial.
