Kenneth R. Peterson, 82, died May 10 at his home in East Falmouth.
He was the husband of Dione E. (Silva) Peterson.
Born in Brockton, he was the son of Horace and Rosamond (Chareth) Peterson.
Mr. Peterson served in the US Army from 1948 to 1952 in France and Germany, and later was a supervisor at a munitions plant.
He lived in Sagamore and moved to Falmouth 15 years ago.
Mr. Peterson was an avid motorcyclist.
In addition to his wife, he leaves one son, Kenneth R. Peterson Jr. of Rockland; two daughters, Kathleen Peterson of Brockton and Donna Gracia of Apple Valley, California; three brothers, Ronald Peterson of East Bridgewater, Roy Peterson of Brockton and Pete Peterson of Brockton; one sister, Judith Spellman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Wallace Peterson, Wayne Peterson, Bruce Peterson and Raymond Peterson.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 20, at noon at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.
Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
