Lorette (Cormier) Brun, a former resident of Sandwich, died on June 13 at the age of 78.
Ms. Brun was the daughter of the late Arthur Cormier and the late Jeanne (LeBlanc) Cormier.
She was the wife of Donald J. Brun, to whom she was married for 58 years.
In addition to Sandwich, Ms. Brun also was a former resident of Ellenton, Florida.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and entertaining friends and family in her home. She also took an interest in photography and genealogy and was actively involved in her church.
In addition to her husband, Ms. Brun leaves three sons, Robert Brun and his wife, Sandra Brun, and Daniel Brun and his wife, Lisa Brun, all of Sandwich, and Ronald Brun and his wife, Donna Brun, of Massachusetts. She also leaves a brother, Norman Cormier, and a sister, Delia Cormier, both of Canada; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 11, from 4 to 8 PM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich.
A memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, July 12, at 10 AM at Corpus Christi Church in East Sandwich.
Interment will be in Sandwich Town Cemetery.
