Mamie Mary (Pallazola) Dimock of East Falmouth, who leaves family in Bourne, died on July 24 at Falmouth Hospital. She was 84.
The daughter of Clemente and Philippa (Nicastro) Pallazola, Ms. Dimock was born and raised in a large family in Gloucester.
In 1959, she and her husband, Alan Dimock, moved to East Falmouth and raised their family. The couple later divorced.
She was a longtime employee of Stop & Shop in Falmouth.
Ms. Dimock leaves her children, Adam Dimock of East Falmouth, Giola Dimock of Bourne, Timothy Dimock and his wife, Nancy Dimock, of Fall River, and Dorothy McNamara and her husband, Richard McNamara, of North Falmouth; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves her brothers, Cliffy Pallazola and Jerry Pallazola, and her sister, Seraphina Cranston, all of Gloucester; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Carlo Pallazola and James Pallazola, as well as an infant sister. She was also grandmother of the late Rebecca Amy McNamara.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 2, at 11 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Highway.
A gathering will be held in the church hall after services.
