Shirley Ann (Baptist) LeBlanc of Sandwich died at the Mary McCarthy Hospice House in East Sandwich on June 25. She was 84. She formerly lived in Pocasset.
Ms. LeBlanc was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. LeBlanc.
She was born and raised in Taunton, the daughter of John and Ann (Bouchard) Baptist. She worked for Texas Instruments for many years before devoting herself to raising her family.
In 1972, she moved to Sandwich. She retired to Pocasset in 1992 before returning to Sandwich to spend her last two years.
Ms. LeBlanc enjoyed knitting, crafts, and playing cards.
She leaves her daughters, Brenda Reilly and her husband, Peter Reilly, and Cheryl Demeule and her husband, Todd Demeule; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, and Matthew Reilly and Kacey and Tessa Demeule.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich.
A memorial service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ms. LeBlanc’s name to the McCarthy Care Center, 73 Service Rd., East Sandwich, MA 02537.
