The Sandwich police have arrested and charged a Forestdale man for a recent home break-in in Sandwich, according to a press release.
On Monday, August 18, police obtained an arrest warrant and arrested Stephen A. Gorman, 25, of Pimlico Pond Road. In addition to the break-in pertaining to the warrant, Mr. Gorman is also being investigated as a suspect in four other home break-ins and several motor vehicle break-ins in town.
Police said Mr. Gorman’s mother was cooperative in allowing police to search his home, where they found several items that had been reported as stolen, including a 55-inch television, five computers, an iPad, two GPS units, and a microphone stand. Among the items were goods that had been reported stolen from the towns of Barnstable and Mashpee.
