It was just another day at the office for the Blue Knight swimming and diving team. With the Bay Colony Conference title on the line, not to mention the chance to make a little school history and finish the season undefeated, SHS made another big splash and sunk Nantucket, 94-71.

“This is a thrill,” Coach Tony Compton said of the team’s success. “We’ve taken care of business. The boys have performed excellent all year. It has been over 20 years for me and I’m thrilled to have this undefeated season. These boys just put their stamp on this team and this season.”

The Knights completed the dual-meet season with a record of 13-0.

Sandwich began by winning the first six events. The team of Trey Kamb, Nick Crossman, Tom Cundiff, and Alex Simpson won the medley relay in 1:52.71 with teammates Brian Hann, Christian Hassler, Beau Stanton, and Mo Sykes swimming second in 1:58.57.

By the end of the diving, the Knights held a 54-22 lead over the Whalers.
