CCAC Scavenger

Nadine Krasnow won first prize in the category of “A Shadow” in the Cape Cod Art Center’s online Photo Scavenger Hunt. A new hunt will be posted weekly on the center’s website.

The Cape Cod Art Center is hosting a Photo Scavenger Hunt to keep creative minds active. Every week while Cape Codders are under a stay-at-home advisory, the art center will offer a list of categories to find and photograph. The list will be posted each Wednesday on their website. Entries are due the following Tuesday.

Use a phone, tablet, or camera, search of items inside  home or get outside while keeping social distance from others, and take pictures of what can be found. The art center will post entries on their website, CapeCodArtCenter.org. Within the entries received, Cape Cod Art Center staff will pick a first place winner, a second place winner and an honorable mention.

Categories for the first week included: “Candle In The Window,” “The Color Yellow,” “Silly Pets,” “A Shadow” and “A Number.”

Send photos to Curator@CapeCodArtCenter.org. Please include name, town and the category in the email and send only one photo for each category.

The Cape Cod Art Center is closed for now, but is located at 3480 Main Street in Barnstable.

The Photography Scavenger Hunt is open to people of all ages.
