One silver lining to the pandemic has been the availability of theater and music audiences to tune into virtual concerts and performances taking place further afield, from the comfort of one’s own home.

Hub Theatre Company of Boston is offering just such an opportunity with a pay-what-your-can virtual production of Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.” The show will be performed live online at 7:30 PM this Saturday , November 14 as well as on Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21, and at 4 PM on Sunday, November 15.

Classical Shakespeare and modern technology will collide in the story of Beatrice and Benedick, a pair who hate each other so much that it must be love. The play features witty wordplay, memorable misadventures and modern miscommunications to explore the many masks people wear, both literally and figuratively, when it comes to finding love.

Bryn Boice both adapted and directs the production.
