Cahoon Arch

A mobile by Adria Arch hangs in one of the stairways at the Cahoon Museum of American Art. The museum will host two open houses with free admission from 10 AM until 4 PM this Sunday and on Sunday, December 6.

The Cahoon Museum of American Art is hosting two free open house events on Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Sunday, December 6, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Visitors are invited to see the exhibitions, explore the museum with fun family-friendly activities and take home a special prize.

Three exhibitions are on view in the museum: Salley Mavor’s “Bedtime Stitches,” Edward Curtis’s “Shadow Catcher” and Adria Arch’s “Interference.” Alfred Glover’s “Garden Grove” and Konstantin Dimopoulos’s “The Blue Trees” are on view on the museum grounds. Visit to register for the events or to visit the museum.

The Cahoon Museum of American Art is located at 4676 Falmouth Road (Route 28) in Cotuit. Registration to visit the museum is requested; drop-ins are welcome as gallery space allows. Mask and social distancing are required, and gallery space is limited.
