The Cahoon Museum of American Art is hosting two free open house events on Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Sunday, December 6, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Visitors are invited to see the exhibitions, explore the museum with fun family-friendly activities and take home a special prize.
Three exhibitions are on view in the museum: Salley Mavor’s “Bedtime Stitches,” Edward Curtis’s “Shadow Catcher” and Adria Arch’s “Interference.” Alfred Glover’s “Garden Grove” and Konstantin Dimopoulos’s “The Blue Trees” are on view on the museum grounds. The Cahoon Museum of American Art is located at 4676 Falmouth Road (Route 28) in Cotuit. Registration to visit the museum is requested; drop-ins are welcome as gallery space allows. Mask and social distancing are required, and gallery space is limited.
