The Upper Cape Camera Club will hold its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 11, at the Falmouth Art Center on Gifford Street.

Refreshments and social time will start at 6:30 PM, followed by the meeting at 7.

Anyone interested in photography and in learning more about the club is welcome to attend. The club presents speakers on photography throughout the year and holds both digital and print competitions in various categories. The club also presents photography shows in the area; last year the club presented shows at the ByWay Barber Gallery, the Falmouth Bus Depot, the Falmouth Art Center and the main branch of the Falmouth Public Library. In August the club presented a show and sale at the West Falmouth Library.

The first meeting will include an introduction to the club events for the year, as well as a special “show and tell” presentation of member photographs taken during the past year. The club welcomes all those interested in photography to its meetings. The club holds its meetings the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month.
