Woodruff Liminal

“Woman in Bus Station” by Kathy Pett Ryman, is one of the images that will be part of the show “Liminal Space: Betwixt and Between” opening October 14 at Woodruff’s Art Center.

The Cape Photo Collective will present the show “Liminal Space” October 14 through November 13 at Woodruff’s Art Center in Mashpee Commons.

The show, “Liminal Space: Betwixt and Between” features new works by the group and explores idea of mid-points, suspension, loss of familiar structure and the prospect of an unknown future.

The Cape Photo Collective is a group of like-minded photographers working on the Upper Cape. Although their subject matter and styles are varied, members of the group share similar ideas about contemporary art photography and the process of making photographs. The collective has its roots in two series of courses taught by artist/photographer Jon Moore beginning in 2013.

Members of the group are Julie DeMello, Richard Hale, Christopher Inoue, Kevin Ledwell, Jon Moore, Kathy Pett Ryman, Nancy Walbeck and Ann Worthington.
